The CompuCash POS system has been used at some of the largest music festivals and concerts held in Estonia. For example, we have supplied POS systems for the Weekend Festival and the I Land Sound Festival. Further, CompuCash was used to facilitate sales at concerts by Metallica and Bon Jovi.
Festivals and major concerts
We have been selected as partners by festival organisers:
- Control over cash sales. All operations at the cash register are recorded to minimise the risk of theft by staff members.
- Bar inventories are under control and bar managers know when to stock up.
- Precise sales statistics. Making the right decisions requires accurate source data.

Ektaco’s team was very professional and everything was well organised. They produced a solid result given that the app was completed just a few weeks before the concert and “survived” such a large event. It is true that certain bottlenecks were identified during the concert and the new POS system requires some improvement. However, Ektaco promised to act on our feedback and supply an enhanced version of CompuCash for the Metallica concert to be held at Raadi Airfield in July. The new POS system uses Android tablets to ensure quick setup and provide the necessary mobility.”
