Video surveillance and CompuCash 4000 SQL PosVideoThe video surveillance solution offered by Ektaco will enable on-site watching of video images or using the Internet. A special recording card will be inserted into the computer suitable for recording and the ’server’ software of the video recorder will be installed. Cameras will be set up on locations selected by the client and they will be connected to the recording card in the computer by video-cable. Watching on the LAN or Internet can be done using the ‘client’ software (the ‘client’ can be used by an unlimited number of users and it is not necessary to acquire it separately). It would be necessary to present the IP address of the server and after that the user-name and password. Convenient and fast viewing of the archive will enable to check on the activities and problematic incidents which have occurred. Only activities related to movement will be recorded. In addition, it is possible to define in which part of the screen the movement should be, or what kind of movement should be eliminated (e.g. traffic movement outside point of sale, visible through the window).
Selecting the necessary camera(s) it is possible to move the mouse along the recorded area on which the recording time will be displayed. If you click on the time you want, immediately the corresponding frame will be displayed and with ‘play’ function viewing of archive could start. ‘Speed play’ function could also be used for quick viewing. It is also possible to select an area on the image and start search. The frames with movement in the area will be displayed. This will allow fast viewing of the area of interest in the period chosen. The video solution will enable to analyse customer service and the quality of service speed, behaviour habits of personnel and clients and to give general useful visual information for the work reorganisation in the company. CompuCash 4000 SQL PosVideo module provides, similar to the above, viewing of video images, but together with cash register activities, if required. It allows management which is based on cash register activities, e.g. by application of the filter ‘corrections of invoice lines’ or ‘applications of discounts’. It can choose for viewing only those parts of video which are related to the application of corrections or discounts in order to verify whether the activities were justified. The price of the offered video surveillance system is acceptable also for smaller premises, e.g. the cost of the surveillance with two cameras is approximately 10,000 kroons + VAT (the indicated price shows only the order of magnitude, for quotation, please, contact us). |
