CompuCash 4000 SQL cash register system

Ektaco has already been involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of cash register systems for over 15 years:

• CompuCash 1000 was developed at the beginning of nineties initially for the Finnish market.
• CompuCash 2000 was developed in 1996 and was one of the first Windows-based cash register systems in Estonia.
• Version 1 of the cash register system for Eesti Post (Estonian Post) was developed in 1997. At present there are over 600 cash points installed in the postal system, using version 6.
• One of the first solutions for integrated cash register systems and bank card payments in Estonia was developed in 1997. The Centre for Bank Cards issued their certificate No. 1 to us.
• In 2002 the magnet stripe of bank card payment solution was upgraded and transferred to the EMV standard.
• CompuCash 3000 office software was developed in 2003.
• CompuCash 3000 cash register software was developed in 2005.
• New software for bank card payment solutions, which was developed in 2005. It was fully based on the new EMV standard.
• CompuCash 3000 portable Pocket order terminal and touch screen solutions were developed in 2006.
• CompuCash 4000 SQL POS and Office availible from 2007, system running on MS SQL database.

Over the years we have constantly received feedback from our customers on:

• the necessary qualities of a user-friendly, flexible and multifunctional cash register system;
• which features would require further development;
• which additional functions and modules they would require.
